My research area is animal behavior.  I work with lots of different species, both in the field in Kenya, South Africa and throughout southern Ontario, and also at the Toronto Zoo, where I volunteer as the behaviorist”.  My work centres on three different themes:

-- memory and cognition in primates and other animals

-- psychological well-being & reproductive behaviour of endangered species

--the impact of human activity on wildlife
